The Tigers are vanishing

After having interviewed a WWF representative recently, it was brought to light, the dwindling population and situation of our beloved cats here in Asia.

The Amur Tiger, also abbreviated as the Siberian Tiger were once often found roaming throughout the far east of Russia, northern China & along the Korean peninsula. Hunting had been the sport for the ruthless poachers who bloodthirstily seeked game. The poor tigers were driven to the brink of extinction…Today, with gratified thanks to Russia, it’s becoming of the first country of the world to grant the subspecies full protection, had been caringly boosting the numbers back up from a mere 40. The population of the ‘Panthera tigris altaica consists of roughly 540 cats, having them often weighing in around 396-660 pounds.

Forests habitats are at risk due to logging, conversion to agriculture, urban expansion, mining, road construction, fires & inadequate law enforcement. The ferocious felines have been restricted to the Sikhote-Alin range in Primoski and Khabarovsk provinces of the Far East. These tigers actually own the largest home range of any tiger subspecies, having to roam far and wide because of the low-prey density in the area. They currently represent the largest unfragmented tiger population in the world.
It goes to show there aren’t really many of these pussycats around anymore.

Did you know that tiger bones and teeth are used for human facial products & medicine?

Tiger skin is often sold off and traded for carpets, rugs & furniture.

Every week, a wildlife ranger gets shot in action thanks to poachers hunting for game.

World Wildlife Foundation is doing everything possible in their power and means to put a halt to humans endangering other land animal species on our still vibrantly life harbouring planet.
Monitoring populations. Protecting habitats. Increasing Tiger prey. Advocating for improved legislation. Raising Public awareness.

Aliens Exist? Mysteries beginning to unfold

This former American astronaut confessed about his knowledge of top-secret classified information regarding the Cold War and Extraterrestrial life on Earth.

Edgar Mitchell

Edgar Mitchell, former NASA astronaut, was the sixth human being to set foot on the moon during the Apollo mission in 1971. He devoted the remaining years of his life to the unconventional scientific study of extraterrestrial life after his retirement.

Edgar Mitchell passed away at the age of 85, in Florida, United States of America. But before he moved on, he revealed during an interview with Mirror Online, a British newspaper, that ‘Peace-loving aliens’ had played a part in preventing a nuclear war between mankind’s military forces. They had apparently visited the Earth during the Cold War.
“The extraterrestrials were trying to prevent war by helping create peace on Earth. he said. He also added that, “My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help to create peace on Earth.”

He had specifically pinpointed UFOs on being sighted in military bases all across the globe. “I spoke with several Air Force officers who worked in these bases during the Cold War. They told me that UFOs were frequently seen and that they were able to deactivate their missiles. Other officials on the Pacific Coast said their missiles were frequently shot down by alien ships. There was a lot of activity in those days.” he revealed.

According to the NASA astronaut, the US government never spared resources when hiding all types of information on such incidents. Till the final moments of 1974, a National Security Act was signed, thereby prohibiting the disclosure of any information on UFO sightings.
“White sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons – those were what the extraterretrials were interested in. They wanted to know about our military capabilities. said Mitchell.

NASA had responded to Dr.Mitchell’s accusations in the past by saying: – “NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover-up about alien life on this planet or anywhere on this universe.”

Does this kind of information bother you?

Musk accidentally tweets his phone number to 16.7m folllowers

Recommended by https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/ATSF9uvMfqM

Elon Musk gave his 16.7 million Twitter followers what he meant to send to the chief technology officer of virtual-reality company Oculus: his phone number.

“Do you have a sec to talk? My cell is …” Musk wrote from his account to John Carmack, the CTO of Facebook-owned Oculus. The Tesla chief executive officer quickly deleted the post.

A call placed to the number that Musk tweeted went to voicemail and played a message from the video game God of War.

“By the Gods you’ve done it,” the message intones. “Somehow you’ve found your way here to me. I offer you my congratulations and my respect.”

The tweet invited speculation that Musk, 46, may have been trying to recruit Carmack or was seeking ways for Oculus to cooperate with any of the many businesses he runs.

Those include the electric-car maker Tesla, rocket company SpaceX, artificial intelligence researcher OpenAI, brain-computer interface developer Neuralink and tunnel digger The Boring Company.

Elon Musk quickly deleted the post which included his phone number.

Elon Musk quickly deleted the post which included his phone number.

A Facebook spokeswoman said Carmack doesn’t plan to leave the company. Representatives for Tesla and Space Exploration Technologies didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Virtual and augmented reality are playing significant roles in the development of autonomous cars. Engineers for companies including Alphabet’s Waymo are turning to simulation platforms to test and train their self-driving systems that are being primed to navigate vehicles as well as – or ideally better than – human drivers.

Before diving into virtual reality, Carmack built a company that attempted to make a craft for suborbital space tourism.

After spending millions, he shuttered it in 2013. Still, he’s maintained an interest in the sector and has interacted with Musk over Twitter before.

Truth in Fiction

We must become the change we wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi.
One of the many wise quotes from a distinguished leader of the Indian Independence movement in British-rule India in the 1940s. Gandhi led India to independence and inspired Civil rights movements and freedom across the World.

“We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference.” – Nelson Mandela. He was the first elected Chief Executive of South Africa, in a fully representative democratic election. With his leadership, his government focused on demolishing the legacy of the system of segregation or discrimination on the grounds of race, through tackling institutionalised racism and fostering racial reconciliation.

These are the people who we have looked towards for some form of leadership, in the past, to ignite changes within systems that are flawed. There are many more in the past that have risen to the occasion and have made an impact on our current lives and reality. Yet, there is still a disparity that lies hidden within the unseen cracks of our current economic systems and governments. The leaders we have currently tend to be modest in the changes that are put forth compared to those in our history books. Mostly within the subject of economic and military growth. Below are some known examples of our current leaders’ speeches on growth:

1. President Obama elaborating on his budget and inviting people to take action.

2. Prime Minister of the United Kingdom speech on transforming British economy.

3. Speech by the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Leong, at the Economic Society of Singapore Annual Dinner.

4. Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli delivering a speech at the conference, vowing to push forward with China’s “New Formal” growth model.

As you can see, these speeches are mostly about the economy and the country’s growth. So why is economic growth so important to us?

Economic growth has been presented to be essential for each and every one of us surviving in this current time. It has been deemed important to acquired more wealth accompanied by the growing consumption everyone has in most countries. This allows businesses and corporations to grow and prosper exponentially. This relates to growth in the output of the economy as a whole. Currently, growth is measured as the difference or change in the gross domestic product of a country over a year. However, good economic growth does not equate to a better standard of living as always intended.

I live in Singapore, a small country located in the southernmost region of the continental Asia, which has no natural resources besides its people. Since their independence in 1965 from British rule, Singapore has grown to be a global commerce, financial and transportation hub. In 2014, Singapore was crowned the most expensive city in the world according to the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). With such luxury like casinos, “low” crime rates, multi-million dollar properties, ever-green parks and a great Business district skyline, many expats and foreigners have resided in this small country which has tremendously impacted and increased the cost of living for the average Singaporean. Despite the high cost of living, I lead a happy, thriving life. I can safely say that with a slightly over-average income, I am able to have a home, water, electricity and some simples vices that makes living here tolerable. However, I cannot say the same for part of the population that work just to survive this increasingly expensive place. Recently, a study has shown that the ‘working poor’ in Singapore are not getting sufficient pay or salary to make ends meet. ‘Working poor’ is defined as a working individual whose income per household member is less than half of the national median per capita household income of Singapore, which stands at SGD $1,920. A survey done on poverty attitudes by the National University of Singapore (NUS) Social Work Department presented that those who need money want to work and that there are jobs available for them. However, it has been reported that there are more than 300,000 Singaporeans and permanent residents who earn less than SGD $1,500 a month (excluding employer CPF contribution) despite working full-time. Read more on this 2013 article here. Here is an article from the Guardian by Warwick Smith on his opinion on economic growth.

Simply put, quite a number of people do not prosper while the economy does. It is quite simple. We have been conditioned by our monetary and economic systems, that supports and purports greed rather than growth, to want and yearn more. To have more of something is the societal norm that has encompassed the mind of every individual that has lived in these past years, and will live in the years to come, as these ideas and concepts are built and incorporated into our education system. Competition has been put in place within the structures of growth rather than collaboration or cooperation. We have been made to judge and dream about the redundancies of the materialistic world. We promote greed and jealousy in our advertisement to grow consumption and thus the economy.

There are other possibilities of a far better economic and social structures that have been researched and also presented to the world which will abolish war, hunger, poverty, debt and unnecessary human suffering. One of them is called the Venus Project. This was created by an organization that created a feasible plan of action for social change towards a peaceful and sustainable global civilization. It outlines an alternative to strive toward where human rights are no longer a paper proclamations but an actual way of life. They have presented us with many different solutions such as a world economy that is resource based. With this, it utilizes existing resources, rather than money, and provides an equitable method of distributing these resources in the most efficient way, to the entire population. This system requires no use of money, credits, barter or any form of debt or servitude. Other solutions include housing, transportation and energy. The founder, Jacque Fresco, a futurist, inventor and industrial designer, uses the frontier of science, technology and imagination to create an intelligent application of what is available to us. The only limitations are those which we impose upon ourselves.

Think of all the human suffering that can be eradicated. Think of all the unnecessary famine, war, deaths and destruction that undoubtedly follow in our current plans for economic greed and power. The Venus project alone shows the very possibility of a new way of life. Rather than just to survive, we can thrive and develop a new world where every single individual can live and prosper. However, we need to change our current mindsets and some parts of our beliefs that have been instilled to indoctrinate us to the current structures of society and culture. We need change on an individual level first before the world can change. We need people to explain and lead us forward and inflict creativity and open-mindedness, towards these changes that will have to take place in order for each and every one of us to thrive.

Where are these people or leaders?

They are available anywhere, but do not look for them in the next political campaigns or in the current government. These ‘leaders’ are nothing but fictional characters that are invented by creative people to address the rising conflict between truth and lies within our reality. With many mainstream media and entertainment industries being owned by corporations, information tends to be exaggerated and sometimes, even fabricated to present the population with only the truth of what these powers want you to believe and not. It seems that politics and mainstream media are more about fiction than facts. We live in the age of technological advancements and with the easy access of information available to the common man, we hold the ability to research on a certain subject. With all these information available in an array of platforms and avenues, the truth is just an accepted perception of the conscious mind. In today’s context, fiction has become a primary point on which the journey towards truth will start. In many books, TV series and movies, truth has been portrayed as a kind of camouflage that can only be detected by the curious mind. Below are some examples of truth in fiction:

1. Known by most as “the most honest 3 minutes in television history”, this is an HBO TV series called the ‘Newsroom’ starring Jeff Daniels. The character Daniels plays is Will McAvoy, a news anchor. In this scene, he answered a question asked by a student, “Can you say why America is the greatest country in the world?”. Great answer!

2. The Matrix. This movie provides a great representation of exactly what we are to the Elite of the world; batteries. It also shows the possibilities of an individual once they have awakened and escape the matrix. Your mind is the only limit.

3. Lord of War is a movie, starring Nicolas Cage, about an arms dealer confronting the morality of his work. It shows the Government’s prominent role in the distribution and sales of weapons and how they cover up the distribution and uses it to promote violence and fear throughout the world.

4. Blood Diamond is a movie that sheds light on the hardship and corruption incurred in a certain part of the world to provide trivial luxuries to people in developed countries. It also shows how the truth is being kept and hidden from people who keep the diamond industry intact through value and praise.

Well, it may not be hard facts, but there are some truths in them. Do not even get me started on the symbolism that are found in these shows. The best part is, there are many more just waiting for you to search on or stumble upon. Remember to always be wary and keep an open mind on the meanings and hidden messages in these shows. The most important thing you can do is to share these information. Share your opinions and comments with others so we can learn different perspectives that will ultimately lead us to unveil the real truth. Below are some of my favourite finds of great videos that will intrigue, fascinate and motivate you to strive for truth and change.

1. George Carlin – The American Dream

2. V for Vendetta – The Revolutionary Speech

3. My ultimate favourite, The Great Dictator (1940) – The Greatest Speech Ever

Music Boosts

Music, has been around for thousands of years. Instruments and the human voice are able to generate sounds. Certain sounds with a specific pitch are called notes. They are then grouped together to create rhythm and melodies. Music, disregarding the type, can be composed almost spontaneously or it could be a long term affair.

It is a daily phenomenon that occurs throughout the globe across hundreds and thousands of cities. We are heavily influenced by the kind and genre of music we listen and indulge in. Our lifestyles tend to ruminate around this and it may even affect our fashion and sense of style.

Music has evolved immensely over the centuries and as of late, there has been an influx of talented artists, flooding the social media with their tweaked covers of Beyonce’s ‘Halo’.

Before we all get too carried away, let us be reminded of the considerable history of music and trace back it’s roots.
Although debatable, the earliest versions of music was to come in forms of rocks and sticks, which means percussion-based. These age-old traditions date all the way to the prehistoric cavemen era. Modern day instruments were invented by the Egyptians, who created harps, flutes, lyres and double-reeded clarinets, during 4000-3500 BCE.
About 2000 years later, the world’s most popular and commonly used instrument was crafted – the guitar. It’s amazing isn’t it? Humans only started composing music during the Middle Ages.

Prior to that, the intellectuals were too busy dissecting the mathematics of music; creating what is the keystone of music – the octave scale. Music theory was too, invented during the Golden Ages.

c_major

I’d like to state that all the greatest composers came to fruition after the widespread birth of religion across Europe and Asia. Perhaps we were too preoccupied seeking God?
Here’s the music era categorized and organized:

  •  The Middle Ages
  • The Renaissance
  • The Baroque Age
  • The Classical Period
  • The Romantic Era
  • The Twentieth Century

Music was greatly interlaced with religion and the various religious sects during those early junctures in history. Till today, music is known to encompass culture, art, ideologies and emotion. The Catholic Church had introduced various distinctive pieces of music which unfortunately was destroyed at that point in time.  Islamic ceremonies also practice the usage of music although they tend to utilize the human voice. It is known today as harmonizing or a Capella. One beautiful method of extending the use of the human voice is the Muslim’s Call to Prayer or Azan. Azan means to listen or to hear in Arabic. Here’s an example:

Deeper meaning to Music
Attuned frequencies of music, taken to a higher dimension? You may not probably already know this, but most music is delegated a specific frequency, fine tuning to give it that special feel.

432-440-759x500.png

The most common tuning for today’s music is 440 Hz.
There is a hidden treasure to be found once you’ve tuned your music a little less than a semitone below the industry standard. 432 Hz, claimed to be the natural frequency of the Universe, offers cosmic healing magic. Giuseppe Verdi had once expressed his preference for 432 Hz in one of his letters.

Before war broke out in Europe in 1939, the British held an international conference in London and 440 Hz was mutually and internationally agreed on. There are tons of scientific claims to the human soul’s capability to resonate at high vibration due to the frequencies of 432 Hz yet, I believe you should be doing that kind of research on your own. Here’s a pointer: https://jakubmarian.com/the-432-hz-vs-440-hz-conspiracy-theory/

Now that we’ve clearly digested and attained a more complex understanding of music, let’s talk about how music is beneficial for us.

“One thing good about music is when it hits, you feel no pain.” – Bob Marley

Research shows that when you listen to music that you enjoy, your brain releases ‘dopamine’. This brings about feelings of joy, happiness and excitement. Music also lowers stress and improves overall health, sleep, reduces depression and suppresses hunger, strengthens learning and memory and even improves running performance! These have all been proven by scientific studies and surveys, focus groups.
Isn’t this all of this so wonderful? I guess maybe there really is no such thing as terrible music. Remember ladies and gentlemen, music has to be bought. We insist that you avoid supporting piracy websites and labels! Stay true and loyal to all your favorite artists and musicians, composers and DJs.

If you are genuinely interested in getting some knowledge dropped on you,

5 Tips to Achieving A Clear & Calm Mind

image

It is said that when a person is not being rational, their mind is full of unfinished thoughts and meaningless ideas. Here’s 5 tips I learned from people around the world to practice in my daily life to achieve a healthy balance of body, mind and soul.

1) Exercise – Whether it’s an everyday morning run, a few laps in the pool, weekly yoga class or even hitting the gym, exercise is a great tool to cleanse your mind of ill thoughts. Even if you barely have enough time to sip on some coffee before your commute to work, make it a point to walk to your destinations more often.

2) Eat healthy – Be sure to provide enough vegetables and fruits into your diet whilst maintaining your standard protein and carb intake. Fibre and vitamins are essential to your immune system and your body and brain too! The more clean, the better. Remember, don’t panic, especially if it’s organic!

3) Meditation – I hope you don’t get the wrong idea here, now, meditation is not necessarily sitting or lying down in an attempt to “empty your mind of all thoughts”. It is known as focusing the self in the actions of what you perceive so as to achieve complete attentiveness. For example, I am preparing dinner..I put all my heart into it knowing that it will be delicious. All the energy being conducted is being channeled into preparing that dinner. Boom. You get delicious food prepared with love. It may also be applied with any other activities you absolutely love partaking in! This could also be recognized as mindfulness. If you are highly intrigued, there are tons of books showcasing the topic of mindfulness. Either that..or just go Google it!

4) Appreciating Art – Some people may have the uncanny ability to paint masterpieces with the standards of Van Gogh in no time, some may experience difficulties drawing a simple house and trees. Regardless, one must be able to recognize the efforts that was put into creating that piece of art, as it’s only polite. Art comes in many different forms; Music, Paintings, Dancing, Writing and many more. Now imagine yourself, as you sit in front of a piece of artistic work that has been created by somebody else..you visualize the I that has manifested your own creativity into forming that work of art. Simply said, put yourself in his or her shoes and pretend that you were the one who worked on that fine piece of art. Happy aren’t you? It’s the act of appreciation that is a form of a healthy mind.

5) Crystals & Semi Precious Stones – Okay, I admit this is a pretty controversial one. Whether you are a believer or not, crystals and semi precious stones are widely used around the world, possibly even in this Solar System as precious materials. From computers to watches to jewellery and much more. Don’t believe me?Ask almost every other woman out there why diamonds are so sought after. (Yes a diamond is a crystal) The most simplest approach to this is the information behind these crystals. What power do they hold? What is it these crystals seek? If you have heard or read about the crystals skulls, you should already know this. But otherwise, please do check it out!

Crystals have been used all across the centuries as a piece of Earth that is known to have healing powers. From illness to ailments and useful tools for the mind, these precious minerals are possible to be found almost everywhere and anywhere in the world. Honestly speaking, I myself never used to be a believer of such magical stones. I’m not sure if I still am but I can assure you that these stones are of great help in your daily ongoing life. Ancient cultures and modern traditions still hold on to their roots regarding these powerful ornaments, it is advisable to keep them in your pocket, wear them as jewellery, to use them as house decoration and more.

The purpose of seeking balance between mind, body & soul is to be content with the self and to seek awareness. If you have any other brilliant ideas to contribute please feel free to share them with us!
